Road ShowThe 2013 Road Show

The Resourceful Kansas team is pleased to announce the expansion of our program to include a series of Resourceful Kansas Road Shows.  The Road Show will provide interactive energy efficiency seminars throughout the state.  The seminars are directed towards public sector organizations such as Cities, Counties, Unified School Districts, Colleges and Universities.  While attendance at the seminar is free, registration is required and space is limited.  Lunch will be provided.  Find out when we’ll be in a city near you and register to attend under the 2013 Roadshow Tab.

Attending organizations will find out how to reduce their energy consumption, increase their energy efficiency practices and generate their own energy on-site.  The program is based on the 2011 and 2012 Resourceful Kansas Seminars held at Riley County Public Works where participating organizations learned how to save an average of $4,500/year from their energy bills.  Topics covered in the half-day seminars include:
•    Building Codes and Envelope
•    HVAC Systems
•    Lighting
•    Energy Studies and Energy Audits
•    Renewable Energy Technology
•    Available Funding, Grants and Financing
•    Local Success Stories

Several seminar locations include optional tours of local projects at the end of the program.  See the wind turbines, solar panels, LED lighting systems and more that are generating savings for organizations like yours.
