Resourceful Kansas will be interpreting the below categories in a broad sense. If you feel as though your organization fits within one or more categories, you are encouraged to apply.
- City, County and State facilities (for example: police, fire and emergency response stations, public works facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, courthouses, office buildings)
- Unified School Districts and Private Schools (for example: school buildings, administrative building, campuses)
- Public Colleges, Universities and Technical Schools (for example: campuses, cafeterias, dorm facilities)
- Agribusiness (for example: confined hog operations, grain drying facilities)
- Non-Profit Organizations (for example: museums, educational facilities, houses of worship, assisted living facilities, hospitals, libraries)

Criteria for Resourceful Kansas
We're looking for a variety of applicants,
- From those that have made no energy conservation, energy efficiency or renewable energy improvements to those that have completed numerous improvements and are looking at where to go next.
- From locations all over Kansas
- From each of the 5 eligible organization categories above
- From organization of all sizes

Application criteria will be available on November 15th. It will include
- Ability to provide annual utility statements, access to facility for energy audit and access to O&M personnel for interviews during the audit process
- Willingness to make portions of the Energy Assessment public and to assist in creating a case study to be published on the Resourceful Kansas website
- Existing 'green' or sustainable committees, policies, initiatives, benchmarking campaigns, etc
- Intention to make energy efficiency, energy conservation and/or renewable energy improvements
- Ability for Resourceful Kansas to assist your organization in accomplishing your goals
- Ability for your organization to assist Resourceful Kansas in accomplishing our goals
